Chip is a member of the VVF's Air Team and the pilot of vehicle #4. There is no offical name for this vehicle that makes up the left shoulder of Vehicle Voltron. Chip is the stereotypical whiz kid on the team much like his brother Pidge from the Lion Voltron series. In fact they have a very tight brotherly bond between them. Unlike Pidge however, Chip has an issue with his low self-esteem and it will sometimes affect his abilites. The VVF usually has to prop up his ego by assuring him of his importance to the team. Both brothers have a tight bond between them.
